New Lower Speed Limit on Wessex Way

Bournemouth Borough Council are to introduce a new lower speed limit on the Wessex Way from Westbourne (County Gates) to the Asda roundabout.

The speed limit is to be reduced from 50mph to 40mph.

This new restriction becomes operative on the 20th January 2010.

A copy of the Order, maps showing the location and effects of the Order, a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, a statement of the Council's reasons for proceeding by way of an experimental order and its intention to consider making a permanent order in like terms; may be examined at the Enquiry Desk at the Town Hall Annexe, Bournemouth on Mondays to Thursdays between 9.00am and 4.30pm, and on Fridays between 9.00am and 4.00pm.
