No More Free Parking in M&S

Three Pounds an HourSince M&S took over the Waitrose site in Westbourne, they offered free parking for the first hour (with a free ticket from the machine).

However, shoppers must now pay £3 to park for an hour or £5 for 90 minutes. You are not allowed to return within 2 hours and the fine if you fail to comply is £70.

You can get the parking ticket refunded if you spend £15 or more in the store.

The move has provoked anger amongst Westbourne's shoppers and worries from local traders. While taking a photo of the sign, shown right, we spoke to a number of shoppers who had taken a look and commented that they were leaving and not shopping in M&S again.

Are you happy to pay £3 for an hours parking?
