White desk that’s green from So Furniture

The white desk that’s green!

The new Paperweight Desk by Cardboard Future, which recently featured in Elle Decoration magazine, is a 100% recyclable, beautifully designed desk made in the UK entirely from Grade ‘A’ corrugated cardboard. Find out more and get yours from So Furniture in Westbourne.

Despite the desk weighing in at less than 15kg, it is surprisingly strong and durable, making it perfect for temporary or permanent installation at home or in a commercial office environment.

The desk has a choice of configuration options and its internal design enables you to hide unsightly cables by feeding them up through the legs and out onto the desktop through two concealed cable slots.

Measuring 1500w x 750d x 720h mm when assembled, it comes flat-packed in an easy to carry carton and can be assembled in less than five minutes - the ideal moveable office!

The desk’s ‘green’ credentials are flawless - it is made from 74% recycled paper and 26% virgin fibres from fully certified, sustainable sources. The cardboard is clay coated and the top is varnished using a water-based gloss to repel spillages. Even the tape used to seal its cardboard carrying carton is made of paper.

It is also incredibly good value – an elegant contemporary design that costs less than a comparable desk made from conventional, largely non-recyclable materials.

The Paperweight Desk is available now in bright white from So Furniture in Westbourne, at a special introductory price of £140 (until 31st March) – normal price £152
